- Being a high school student, I feel that learning C++ is a better choice for a
- slightly higher-level course in a high school. I am presently learning Pascal
- in school and C++ at home, and I feel that C++ is more elegant and not
- harder to learn than Pascal. I also believe that the Advanced Placement exam in
- computer science is shifting from Pascal to either C or C++ within the next two
- years, which may or may not be an important consideration.
-
- At present, most of our CS class is rebelling as we seem to universally hate
- the Pascal in favor of C :-)
